Lawyer: Man accused in Minn. wildfire kills self

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28286031/
In may of 2007 Stephen Posniak started the most destructive wildfire in Minnesota history. the wildfire was started when Posniak was camping and stared a small trash fire. he let it get out of control and it started over 118 square miles of forest into canada as well as in minnesota destroying over 150 buildings costing over $10 million. alone, the fire took $11 million to put out the fire. no one was killed or seriously injured by the fire exept for Posniak, 64, that shot himself and died on tuesday. in the trial Posniak pleaded not guilty....
i think that it is insane how much it costs in order to put out forest fires. 10 million dolllars! thats a whole lot of money. it costs almost as much as all of the damage done to the buildings costs. also.. if this man killed himself he is just really depressed, it was an accident.. not likely.. or he was guilty for burning down so much natural resourses and land... killing yourself over burning down some land accidently is not the way to do it. he might have a guilty consious pleading innocent making it so unbearable that he killed himself. no one got hurt in the fire so i dont see why he is so stressed about it. yeah it will take lots of money to re establish the natural habitat but killing yourself over it is really sad.
